Some provide EQ channels for both front and rear speakers. Some equalizers use a single set of controls for both of the front and rear speakers (one set of EQ controls for both stereo channels) while others have separate left and right channels for better tuning. The end result is the same input sound but with EQ adjustments applied to it – not just a simple bass and treble improvement! The sound from each of those circuits is then combined back together and sent out to your amplifier or speaker system. Each filter directs the sound frequencies of that band, based around the band frequency, to a circuit that increases or decreases the volume of that range depending on your adjustments.
